Por Cristián Londoño Proaño Stanislaw Lem es un escritor polaco que nació en Leópolis en 1921 y murió en Cracovia en 2006. Es uno de los grandes exponentes de la ciencia ficción. Fue uno de los pocos escritores de habla no inglesa que alcanzó fama en el fandom de la ciencia ficción, poniéndose a la par de nombres como Frederik Pohl, Philip Dick o Ray Bradbury.
